We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure successful project execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, software developers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions, with a specific focus on cloud computing, infrastructure, AWS services (such as CloudWatch and SNS), and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).

Position Description/Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states and propose solutions.
• Technical Solution Design:
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications, including data flows, system interfaces, and process workflows.
  • Collaborate with software developers and architects to design scalable and efficient technical solutions, leveraging cloud computing and infrastructure technologies.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of AWS services, including CloudWatch and SNS, to monitor and manage system performance and notifications.
• Project Management and Coordination:
  • Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Assist in creating project plans, monitoring progress, and managing risks and issues.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Conduct regular status meetings, provide updates, and address concerns to ensure project success.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate technical solutions against business requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance professionals to identify and resolve defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform testing of cloud-based infrastructure and AWS services, including CloudWatch and SNS, to ensure seamless functionality and reliability.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during production deployments.
• Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Document cloud computing infrastructure configurations, AWS services integrations, and CDK deployments for future reference.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on technical projects involving cloud computing, infrastructure, AWS services (such as CloudWatch and SNS), and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile frameworks.
• Proficient in requirements gathering techniques, process modelling, and documentation standards.
• Experience with cloud computing concepts and technologies, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with AWS services, including but not limited to CloudWatch, SNS, and the CDK.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools, with experience using the CDK for defining and deploying cloud resources.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical team members.
• Experience with data analysis, SQL, and database concepts.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
